Brent Rasmussen, a Certified Residential Mortgage Specialist, is the President and principal owner of Mortgage Specialists, LLC. Brent started as a Mortgage Broker in 2001.  An Omaha native and graduate of Ralston High School, Brent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Small Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

In addition to earning academic honors at UNO, Brent was a stand-out athlete and a two year Captain of the Mavericks Baseball Team.  Continuing his athletic achievements beyond college, Brent is currently the Captain of the United States Men's Sitting Volleyball Team.  Under his leadership, the team finished sixth overall in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece and a ninth place finish in the 2006 World Championships..  Brent also plays on the Omaha Barons wheelchair softball team, which has won four national titles.

Brent is also a board member of the Nebraska Association of Mortgage Brokers, Council Member at Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church, a Board Member of the Eastern Nebraska Wheelchair Athletic Association, and a Delegate Council Member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers. Brent also does many motivational speaking engagements and instructs Lending courses across the State of Nebraska.

Justin is currently vice-president of Mortgage Specialists, LLC and a principal owner. He grew up in Ainsworth, Nebraska and later went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned a bachelor of science degree in finance. He has worked in mortgage lending and management since 1999. Justin’s knowledge and experience in lending, as well as his emphasis on customer service make him an excellent choice for helping you in all your mortgage lending needs.

Sarah, who has been with our company since its formation, has an extensive background in mortgage processing. Going on her 12th year, Sarah has become one of the leading loan processors and underwriters in the Omaha area. Her tenure consisted of a diverse range of roles which included a Loan Officer assistant, Underwriter, Processor, Closer, Funder, and Financial Director.

 As Senior Processor and Operations Manager for Mortgage Specialists, LLC she has an uncanny ability with customer service requests and office operations. With her diversity and finesse being unbeatable in the mortgage area we are able to provide the best service for our customers .
